Annual Woodhaven Neighborhood Events
Each summer, Woodhaven neighbors look forward to being a part of their annual garage sale. Over 90 homes usually participate in the sale and the annual event is organized and sponsored by Todd & Leslie McCabe, neighborhood experts and brokers with John L. Scott of Sherwood. The event is set for the last weekend in June and is on Friday and Saturday. Because the event is so huge, parking becomes scares from shoppers and Woodhaven residents out looking for great bargains!
Every 4th of July, residents line the streets to watch the annual Woodhaven Parade. The parade is tradition and consists of little ones on decorated bikes, or in strollers, families walking their pets, a few decorated cars, and many families sitting on the sidewalk to cheer on the participants bringing a sense of community spirit and pride to the homeowners.
